DeAnn Mendoza
I am an Experiential Facilitator and Educator dedicated to guiding individuals toward emotional healing, resilience, and joyful self-discovery. My practice blends creative, innovative, and integrative mind-body techniques—such as breathwork and conscious movement—to create dynamic spaces where deep connection and personal growth can happen naturally. I thrive on building safe environments where every participant feels seen, supported, and a true sense of belonging.
Before transitioning into integrative emotional and physical health, I spent years as a professional classroom teacher across multiple disciplines, including social-emotional learning, Spanish and Physical Education. This background powerfully shapes my approach to group dynamics incorporating individual needs and inclusivity.
True wellness requires a safe, compassionate space where you feel fully seen, heard, and supported. My practice is anchored by four unwavering pillars designed to help you reconnect with your body and reclaim your vitality:
“Rooted in Experience, Driven by Compassion”
● Laughter: Joy is essential medicine. True laughter reduces biological stress by lowering cortisol levels while naturally easing physical pain through an immediate surge of endorphins.
● Emotion: Moving your body with joy naturally sharpens your ability to identify and regulate emotions. This deep somatic connection unlocks greater longevity, vibrant immune resilience, and lasting heart health.
● Awareness: Mindful motion brings your focus to physical sensations, creating a powerful mind-body-soul connection. This somatic awareness empowers you to safely express and release tension, turning stuck stress into radiant energy.
● Play over Punishment: When we strip away the pressure of rigid repetitions, perfect form, and calorie counting, movement becomes a reward. Giving your body the freedom to move naturally and playfully is where lasting self-love and healing begins.
Out in the wild, you’ll find me enjoying my own fitness and wellness recovery; running, exploring creeks, rivers and lakes with family and friends; shopping for food to make the next recipe that makes my mouth water or loving on my fur babies.
